My therapeutic Approach

Identities of any race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, ability, immigration status, or religion are welcome here.

Each person enters therapy with their own unique challenges. Perhaps you are seeking help because you are struggling with unhappiness. Perhaps life’s uncertainties and events feel frustrating, isolating, and heavy.  Whatever you are facing, therapy can provide a safe and supportive space for understanding.

I offer a personalized approach, rooted in psychodynamic training. This means I take a wholistic view of you. I believe that in order to explore your inner world, we must also explore how external forces have shaped your attitudes, beliefs, and feelings. I take into consideration your history and life experiences, and help you uncover unconscious processes that may have you feeling stuck or lost. I also believe in the importance of utilizing our therapeutic relationship as a means to increase your self-awareness, connect to your most authentic self, and receive essential support and understanding. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Each of us is unique in our own experience.  I have extensive training in Jungian theory, and tend to integrate mindfulness, family systems therapy, relational process, and attachment. By integrating such approaches, I am able to customize therapy for wellness of the whole person – body, mind, and spirit.
